Class Description

Hip Hop was born in the Bronx in the 1970s through Black and Latinx communities, growing into a cultural movement rooted in music, creativity, self-expression, and community. WHAT TO EXPECT: Join Zomi for a 6-week Beginner Hip Hop choreography program designed for dancers looking to build confidence, learn choreography, and develop their Hip Hop foundations in a supportive environment. Each week, Zomi will guide you through a fun warm-up and beginner-friendly choreography focused on musicality, retention, performance, and building confidence while learning choreography. *Note: One of our faculty members, Meaghan, will be shadowing Zomi & training as well!* No experience required, come ready to learn, move, challenge yourself, and have fun!
