EFFECTIVE BREAKS

EFFECTIVE BREAKS is a a series of Breaking "Break Dance" and other Street Dance Style classes that are held for youth in Grades 1-12 that focuses on

  • Connecting with Street Dane and Culture

  • Integrating and maintaining a physically active lifestyle

  • Strengthening teamwork and self dicipline

  • Positive creative outlet in the Urban Arts

  • Demonstrating School Pride in Future Competitions

WORKSHOPS

Get your students engaged in a social setting through our Street Dance and Culture Workshops. All workshops are relevant to the Ontario Curriculum for Dance.

  • 45 minute - 1 hour workshops

  • During School hours or After School Programs

  • Grades 1-12 (Girls and Boys)

Along with our 45 minute to 1 hour workshops, get your students engaged and see the real deal with our shows!

  • 5 minute or 20 minute shows

  • Showcasing various Street Dance Styles

  • Exciting music

SCHOOL PRIDE PILOT PROJECT

Do you have a group of students at your elementary or high school that are always dancing and eager to do more with their dance?  Do want to develop your students/dancers in their craft through Street Dance and Culture and compete just like a tournament? This year-round project is for them!

 

The "School Pride Pilot Project" is a year round program that includes classes and a final year-end Dance Competition/Battle.

  • Grades 9-12 (minimum 7 students)

  • Minimum 2 schools participating

  • 1-2 hour training classes

  • Once or Twice a week

  • One or two semesters (minimum 10 weeks commitment)

  • Final "battle" competition at end of semester between the schools
