Class Description
Join our artistic director Effect for his 6-week beginner friendly Breaking program. This beginner-friendly program welcomes participants with some movement experience (if you go to the gym, yoga, pilates, fitness classes etc). No Breaking experience is required, but Breakers are welcomed to sign up and BBoy Effect will accommodate and push you! What to expect: Learn the basics of Breaking "Break dance", history, culture, foundations, drills, conditioning and how to piece together movements. Expect good music - Hip Hop, Funk and Break beats. You will get a great workout every Thursday! NOTE: Breaking is a physically demanding dance style. If you have any previous injuries or physical limitations, please inform Effect in advance. While we’ll do our best to offer modifications where possible, accommodations are not guaranteed and the overall structure of the class cannot be changed. POSSIBLE DATE ADJUSTMENT: Our planned start date is March 5th, 2026, however we may have to adjust the start date to March 12th, 2026 and push a make-up class for April 23rd (You will still have 6 weeks). This will be confirmed by February 6th, 2026 and all participants will be informed! ---- No refunds All sales final All policies in place Do not attend if you are sick or unwell
