Class Description

Join BGirl Lotus for a 12-week Beginner Breaking choreography program where you’ll learn the foundations of Breaking, build confidence, and have fun moving to the music! Breaking originated in the Bronx in the 1970s as part of Hip Hop culture, growing through creativity, individuality, musicality, and community. Each week, BGirl Lotus will guide you through a dynamic warm-up, foundational Breaking movements, and beginner-friendly combinations that introduce you to footwork, freezes, and other key elements of the dance. Prior experience suggested, come ready to learn, move, and have fun!
