COVID-19 PROTOCOL

You must review the Covid-19 protocol prior to attending any Moov Ottawa Dance event

JANUARY 21ST, 2022: We will be opening up our in-person classes & programs beginning February 1st, 2022. All the protocols below will still be in effect.

JANUARY 4TH, 2022: With the new restrictions from the Ontario government, Moov Ottawa's in-person classes, workshops & community projects are cancelled/postponed. Virtual/Online School Programs will continue as usual. All in-person programs will resume in February 2022, or when indoor recreational activities re-open.

DECEMBER 18TH, 2021: Masks will be mandatory at all times, even when dancing, but will be allowed to remove it to drink water or when changing into a new mask, which will be provided at the entrance.

INDOOR PROGRAMMING PROTOCOL:

PROOF OF VACCINATION + ID

Please always bring your proof of vaccination and a valid ID to all classes, workshops and events run by Moov Ottawa Dance as we will be requesting to see it at each visit at any indoor venue. Any outdoor venues do not require proof of vaccine unless stated.

room capacity

All rental spaces are occupied at a max. of 40%  (Approx. 10-20 students per room max.)

NO PROOF = NO ENTRY (indoors)

You will be asked to leave the venue if you have no proof of Vaccine + valid ID

 masks & hand washing

Hand washing with hand sanitizer or soap & water is mandatory on arrival to any indoor facility. It will be readily available to all attendees and should be used often.

You must wear your mask at all times if you are not actively dancing indoors. Once you are dancing, you are given the choice to keep it on or remove it as necessary. We follow the protocols of the Bronson Centre and LabO (that are provincially guided) where we social distance ourselves as best as possible and are comfortable removing our masks while actively dancing and aware that everyone is fully vaccinated in our space.

UPDATE AS OF DEC. 18TH, 2021: Masks will be mandatory at all times, even when dancing, but will be allowed to remove it to drink water or when changing into a new mask, which will be provided at the entrance.

self isolation/symptoms

If you have been told to self isolate as per Public Health or are experiencing symptoms, even mild, do not attend any Moov's events.

screening questions
